Soul Show returns to the heartland of the Dr Hoss Spittle Travelling Medicine Show. Welcome on board everybody says the doctor as the train waits for passengers at the station, huffs and puffs, and departs on an all-originals journey through landscapes of blues and R&B, country and most of all soul.
Walking through rattling carriages of song, the doctor treats symptoms of illusion in Run "you can run but you cannot hide/ find where you can't be found" and News "add it up stamp it out/ poke your world through a word/ wrap up your takeaways", eases social and solitary pains with the uptempo You Can't Have Love and languid Blue Light, and opens the pharmaceuticia to find a Word To The Wise, and another legend from the old days about a Field Of Petals "my daddy left school when he were only 12".
